finally not a reject!
last night, i was knitting away on my sock, happily thinking i could probably get the second sock all done this weekend. i turned the heel, then finally went to admire my work... and found that i'd totally botched up one side!
i was a little nervous about dying yarn on the stovetop. it's superwash, but i still had to poke around a bit to get the dye everywhere, and check the color of the water. also, it was all looking a lot darker than i wanted it. i carried on, hoping that i wouldn't wind up with a felted mass of overly dark yarn.
